So, your child has asked to attend VidCon …

No worries! Here are some resources to help ensure that you and your child have the best experience possible.

Attending VidCon as a Parent

Chaperone Info

If your child is under the age of 13 they must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone at all times. We require parents or chaperones to purchase the same badge type as the child they are accompanying.

If your child is age 13 or over, you are not required to accompany them at all times. If you’re okay with them being on their own at VidCon Australia but would like to accompany them to the event, you do not need to purchase a VidCon ticket to access the Parents’ Lounge. If you do wish to accompany your child to other VidCon spaces, you will need to purchase a ticket.

7plus Parents' Lounge

The 7plus Parents’ Lounge is a comfortable space for parents to relax and recharge while their children explore VidCon Australia. Grab a complimentary coffee or tea and charge your devices.

You do not need a ticket to have access to the 7plus Parents’ lounge. If your child is old enough to be at VidCon on their own (13+), but you’d like to stay nearby, you are welcome to make yourself at home in this space. Feel free to put your feet up, enjoy a refreshment, and meet other parents while your child explores everything that VidCon Australia has to offer.

7plus Parents’ Lounge Hours:
Saturday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
