Baby Ariel

Long before emerging as the world-renowned “Queen of Gen Z,”Baby Ariel—aka Ariel Martin—fell in love with music and performing as a child. In fact, some of her earliest memories include living room concerts captured on charming family home videos. Born to a musician dad and actress mom, a passion for the arts certainly ran in the family. She learned piano and enrolled in vocal lessons at a young age and developed an appreciation for The Beatles and Michael Jackson. She can recall writing “thousands of ideas for songs”in countless notebooks. Her love for music officially manifested in a modern arena. After enduring a flood in summer 2015, Ariel’s family had to live out of a suitcase at her grandparents’ house. Stuck in the house all summer, she found other forms of entertainment, downloading Musical.ly.

By 2017, the 16-year-old had become a worldwide phenomenon. Quietly building a cumulative audience of 36 million-plus, she garnered a prestigious Wall Street Journal“Innovator Honor,” received “Choice Muser” at the Teen Choice Awards two straight years in a row, adorned the cover of Billboard Magazine, graced TIME’s “25 Most Influential People on the Internet” list, made the Forbes“Top Influencers 2017: Entertainment” list, co-headlined the sold-out DigiTour, and garnered nominations at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards, Streamy Awards, and more. Simultaneously, her influence continued to expand with the launch of the Arielmojisticker app and her own upcoming clothing line “Dream.” She spoke out against bullying with her #ArielMovement cited by People for its positive impact on #hackharrassment. However, that first dream came back into focus with her debut single “Aww.” Punctuated by playful samples of babies cooing, finger-snaps, and a skittering video game-style beat, it formally introduces Ariel’s signature“Quirky Pop” sound to the masses. Things are about to get “Aww-some”...
