Cassie is a California native & after 14 years living in New Zealand, a proud Kiwi. Passionate about storytelling across mediums both emerging and traditional, her role as GM of Content Marketing & Experiential at NZME is to lead, motivate and take a team of ground-breaking marketers & content creators to the next level in an evolving media industry. A content marketing evangelist, she works closely with clients and agencies alike to develop and implement highly creative, data-driven, & ultimately successful campaigns. Before NZME, Cassie worked across industries, mainly in the social and digital media spheres. She comes with a wealth of content creation knowledge and experience from over 10 years in the media industry. And, came to NZME from Air New Zealand where she led a team of digital/social media specialists. Prior to Air New Zealand Cassie held content/marketing roles at ANZ Bank, Mercury Energy and the AA. On the weekends, you’ll find Cassie chasing endless summer while stand-up paddle boarding with her daughter and fiancée. She’s also a keen fan of a Waiheke Island buttery Chardonnay.
