Mad Kids is a digital, film and television production company based in Perth, Western Australia. Their mission is to create iconic, original and entertaining content that makes noise around the world. Founded by filmmakers Matt Lovkis, Henry Inglis and Lauren Elliott in 2012, the trio have spent the last five years building their brand and growing a slate of impressive digital comedy projects including DAFUQ? The Shapes, The Legend of Gavin Tanner, Henry & Aaron’s 7 Steps to Superstardom, The Write Stuff with Noel and Carl Pennyman and Matt & Henry: Working Together. They have also had three internationally-viral sensations It’s A Snap! (3 million views), How To Deal Weed (1 million views) and Set Yourself Free (20 million views). Mad Kids are represented by CAA (Creative Artists Agency) in Los Angeles which has resulted in a number of exciting opportunities in the US, including a producing partnership with Sacha Baron Cohen’s production company, Four By Two, who saw “early shades of Ali G” in Mad Kids' work. Mad Kids are passionate about making premium content and telling great stories with authentic characters. Matt was a member of improv group The Big Hoo-Haa and presenter of Late Nights with Dani and Matt on 92.9FM. He has written musical numbers for awards shows, TV series and web series, and in 2012 released the comedic big-band album Matt Lovkis Doing It Live with the Ash Gibson Greig Orchestra. Matt was the Series Writer for Big Brother from 2012 to 2014 and I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here from 2015 to 2017. Matt recently co-wrote and co-directed his debut half hour TV pilot, The Legend of Gavin and the New Best Mate for ABC1 and is currently developing a slate of new comedy projects for Australia and the US.
